PW PURPOSE

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
To nurture our faith through prayer and bible study,
To support the mission of the Church worldwide,
To work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God's Kingdom."

The women of Peace Presbyterian Church work to serve the needy locally, nationally and globally. Peace PW has supplied needed items to foreign missions as well as locally.

The salad luncheon helps raise funds to be used for our projects.

We support the Prison Ministry program of Presbyterian Outreach. Our PW stitched seventeen Christmas stockings and collected donations to be used for items to fill these stockings. We also assist with other sewing projects.

The Women of Peace meet four times a year, at 9:30 am, the first Wednesday in September, November, February, and April.
